The main differences between the two are file sizes, image quality is better in RAW, editing and sharing is better for JPEG, and the speed is faster on JPEG to process than RAW. The RAW file size is significantly bigger in file size. You need to process and convert a RAW file into a JPEG because they’re so large, sharing RAW files can be challenging. If I was in an important event I would shoot in RAW because the quality of the picture would be better even though the size of the file is bigger. Although JPEG would be good because it is faster to process and send to someone.
